Members of the Fullerton Hills Water Polo program have been admitted to prestigious universities due in large part, to their commitments to playing Water Polo.  Early acceptance to Princeton and Stanford, special acceptance to UC Irvine and acceptance to USC, Loyola Marymount and Florida-Atlantic are options that our players have been provided.

There are no poor students who apply to Princeton or UCI.  Those schools get stacks of qualified applicants.  It then becomes a matter of what a student can do for the school.  Those with only grades are being turned away at an alarming rate!

We are very proud that our players are seeing real rewards for being dedicated to our program. "When you are an athlete, your application is pulled by the coach who wants you on his/her team.  This means that you do not compete for admission with every other qualified applicant.

Another very important point is many Eastern schools have both Men's and Women's Water Polo, yet the West Coast is really the only place where the sport is played at a high level.  Football, Soccer, Baseball and Soft Ball are played in every region of the country.

It does stand to reason, then that Water Polo Players in our program have a tremendous advantage on getting into a prestigious school!

February 10, 2010- Does Water Polo Matter?  You Bet It Does! Fullerton Hills Water Polo Player, Shin, Chooses Brown!-Fullerton Hills u18 goalie, Sarah Shin will attend Brown University in the Fall of 2010 she announced this morning.

Shin, a United States Water Polo Academic All American has maintained excellent grades throughout her high school years, and she has played water polo!

Water Polo played an important role in Shin's acceptance.  Grades and test scores are two-thirds of the admissions process and every applicant to a school like Brown has grades and test scores!  Water Polo tipped the scales in her favor.

We are very happy for Sarah because she has proven once again that playing water polo does more than simply build character, it also unlocks the doors of prestigious institutions for our players.  Congratulations Sarah, we are very proud!

August, 2009- Members of the Fullerton Hills Girls U16 team took time off from their Junior Olympics Tournament to visit Hoover Tower on the Campus of Stanford University.  Did you know you can see the San Francisco Bay and the San Francisco skyline from up there?

The group also visited the "Old Church," the "Book Store" the "Library" and the food court!

In addition to Stanford, members of the U16 team visited Santa Clara University, and San Jose State University.
