Scholar Athlete Award Available To FHWP National JO Team

Fullerton
Hills Scholar Athlete Award Honors Athletes Who Do It In The Pool And
The Classroom. Fullerton Hills Water Polo announces a new
program designed to honor our national athletes who also achieve in the
classroom. The FHWPSAA (Fullerton Hills Water Polo Scholar Athlete
Award) is now available to any of our team members who meet the
following criteria:
- Be a current member of our team.
- Hold a grade point average of at least 3.60 at the last grading
period.
- Play in a national qualifying event (such as Regional JO's)
- Must have completed grades 7-12.
- Must complete application process.
If you are a player and believe that you qualify please e-mail the
following information:
- Your home mailing address
- Your current grade in school and school you are attending.
- A list of your classes for he last grading period along with the
grades for each class. (We do not need an official transcript)
- A one page typed essay straight from the heart that describes the
role water polo plays in your life. (attach to e-mail)

Members of the
Fullerton Hills Girls U16 team took time off from their Junior Olympics
Tournament to visit Hoover Tower on the Campus of Stanford
University. Did you know you can see the San Francisco Bay and the
San Francisco skyline from up there?
The group also visited the
"Old Church," the "Book Store" the
"Library" and the food court!
In addition to Stanford,
members of the U16 team visited Santa Clara University, and San Jose
State University.
